I'm an elementary and middle school tutor who has a degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from the University of Delaware. I'm passionate about helping kids understand that learning can be fun so that they are inspired to achieve success academically. I specialize in working with kids in grades ranging from kindergarten to the 8th grade, and typically teach by practicing cognitive modeling skills with students to guide them throughout the thinking process until they are able to understand a subject on their own.My main focus is on tutoring students in elementary and middle school math; reading, grammar, literature, phonics, and writing; science and social studies; and American and World history. However, I'm also available to help kids work on developing their organizational skills and improving their study habits. In addition to tutoring elementary and middle school students, I have experience helping high school and college students with essay writing and editing.In my free time, I enjoy exercising - especially, kickboxing, cycling, and running - going to the beach, traveling, and babysitting. I also like to attend professional sporting events. I'm a big fan of the New York Yankees and the New York Giants.
