I'm Patricia from Montville, NJ. I have been a special education teacher for over twenty years. I tutor students from kindergarten through sixth grade in Arithmetic, Grammar and Mechanics, Phonics, Reading, English, and Writing. I also teach children how to be better organized and how to improve their study skills. My goal is to help make my students independent and successful throughout their years of school. I like to use humor in my tutoring. This allows learning to feel more like fun instead of work.I graduated from William Paterson University. I trained in programs such as Words Their Way Spelling, Being a Writer, and Foundations Reading. I am currently training in the Wilson Multi-Sensory program. This program is used to assist students that are not reading at their grade level. I have a wide variety of resources to use to help your children become successful. I like to read and go to flea markets in my free time. I also enjoy movies and music.
